THE BUILDING
The building is one of the least known historic sites of the city and is a stunning example of neoclassic architecture, it was the site of the first public hospital in Barcelona. The Royal Academy of Medicine Catalonia also boasts the site of one of the best-conserved anatomy dissection theatres in Europe.
Our guide will give you an insight into the influence that power, politics and religion had on some of the early scientific practices while giving you a tour of the building.
Ideal for small groups of up to 30 who are looking for a totally unique experience.
