Halloween in Barcelona

The first day of November is a day off in Spain as it is the All Saints –day. Therefore it is a day to honor those who are no longer with us, and also to give yourself a good and nice rest after expressing your Halloween spirit until too late. It’s a tradition to go to church and visit cemeteries to tidy up your relatives’ graves and decorate them a little. The graveyards stay open a bit longer than usually.
