LifestyleDMC goes on a “Mastermind” Teambonding Trip

Last week I was delighted to take a special group of Spanish entrepreneurs on a team bonding trip to Warsaw Poland. The weather was not always in our favour but the electric atmosphere and the scintillating conversation inspired by this forum group was enough to heat up any cold day!

We at lifestyleDMC, specialise in organising team-building, teambonding and incentive trips for some of the largest companies in the world. The aims of the trips could be a product launch, a new team integration, a team reward or an inspirational meeting to plan new strategies.

This trip was different because I was one of the participants in the group. The group consisting of some of the most successful companies in Spain including the CEOs of Privalia,(one of Spain’s largest online retailers of luxury apparel) Trovit (one of the top online portals in Spain) as well as a director of FC Barcelona represents my mastermind group with whom I exchange ideas, new angles of thought and strategic business concepts.

As the CEO of LifestyleDMC it is important for me to continually gauge the opinion of local businessmen and women in Spain as well as international partners and clients. This trip hence was arranged for us all to get away from our busy day to day roles and share our perspectives and best practices in business as well as personal lives with each other.

We began in the airport of Barcelona with a scheduled 3 hour forum meeting afterwhich a straightforward 3 hour flight found us in the compact and bijou Chopin airport of Warsaw. Our bubbly guide Renata was there to greet us. We stayed in a very nice 4 star hotel Novotel Centrum which was perfectly located a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the city. We arranged a tour of the facilities of the hotel and it more than met our expectations for corporate and group travel.

One of the most poignant moments of our trip was the visit to the Polish Uprising Museum, where we learnt about the struggles of the polish people before, during and after the second world war, it is well worth a visit. Our trip was punctuated with an exciting segway tour, some very nice restaurants and some great wine bars for evening entertainment.

Whilst the contents of our meeting are understandably confidential  I can say that we all returned with renewed vigour for our respective businesses and a new found respect for the Polish people and culture.. mission accomplished, thanks Warsaw!.. You can see more photos of our trip here
