May… the month of Events

We are pleased to announce that May has been our busiest month this year with a record 19 events confirmed ranging from gala dinners, to an exciting 4 day incentive program. The first five months of 2012 have been characterised by much shorter lead times than ever before.  In the past we would have had at least a week to turn around a full proposal today that seems like a luxury. The only way to be able to adjust to these changes is to continually work and develop relationships with trusted partners and to take the necessary time to understand the intial brief.

It is very important to make sure that the brief is understood we have found that it saves a lot of time and leads to a higher percentage of confirmations. On average a proposal for a four day program may take up to 15 -20 hours work in between the site visits, the phone calls the client visits and the proposal preparations, without a clear brief it can be even longer. This is why all of our team are trained to help our clients define what they want from the event, after all we are the experts on Barcelona, but you are the experts on YOU!
